Complete Direct Cremation, no service £1,220

The cremation will take place at a local crematorium of our choosing on the next available date that is offered to us which works within our schedule. This is always done on an 'as soon as possible' basis for your convenience. Once the cremation has taken place, we will receive the cremated remains back into our care and we will be in touch with you to discuss your next plans for them.

What makes us different?

At Finch & Sons, you have a choice to do extra, while still having a Direct Cremation.​

This sets us aside from 'online' or 'direct cremation only services' which offer a similar, but less personable service. This gives you the opportunity and peace of mind to be able to have this service, while still using your friendly, local, family owned and run funeral service who can offer you a personal service.

Chapel of rest visits/ including dressing and preparation £100

This is not limited to just one visit, it can be multiple visits within working hours of operation.

Small service in our chapel (Up to Maximum 10 people) £100

This gives families an opportunity to say a personal goodbye without holding a full funeral service.

Bear in mind our chapel is limited to 10 mourners to attend.

This can be held with the deceased in the coffin (opened or closed), or with the ashes once received after the cremation.

Wooden ashes casket £65

Cremated remains are returned to us in a strong cardboard box from the crematorium. 

You are free to decide what they are put in afterwards, and we can even help you to transfer them.

Out of hours collection of deceased £175

If you wish to specify a particular crematorium for the direct cremation to take place at, we will charge this at cost.​​​​
